The Original SACHER tea from Wien, Austria, its organic infusion in black tea and jasmine green tea delivers its strong and rich odor, and dipped into the 90°c boiled water, the colour is in slight orange mixed with berry red; its scent is spreading fast and furiously. Following the SACHER HOTEL iconic interior design, the wavy tin can in 7cm x 7.5cm x7cm perfect size emprinte the vintage photos of the hotel façade on the front and back, as if a mini SACHER HOTEL architecture model, makes it an alluring collector’s must-have. 

The story of SACHER HOTEL macarons begins in the middle of the nineteenth century, since then, Sacher’s recipe never changed. The joy of the crispy yet creamy Rosé, salted caramel, dark chocolate and forest berry kick off from a layer of dense and melting ganache of brown sugar mixing up together with the salty shells, ‘salty caramels’ makes the perfect balance of the meticulous greasy feels. I find that SACHER chocolate macarons usually have a sense of bitterness; therefore, it could be great to match with sweeter afternoon tea. 

 

Originally known as Mozart-Bonbon, named after musician and composer Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, MozartKugel is a round sugar confection made of pistachio, marzipan, nougat and dark chocolate. Created in 1890 by Salzburg confectioner Paul Fürst (1856–1941), the receipt of MozartKugel is a ball of marzipan placed on a small wooden stick and coated in dark chocolate. The stick is then placed vertically, with the ball at the top, on a platform to allow the chocolate to cool off and harden. The removal of the stick leaves the hole is filled with chocolate coating and wrapped in metal foil at its completed manufacturing stage. MozartKugel remain fresh for about eight weeks at room temperature.

 

Nowadays, dispute between MIREBELL and REBER, the very original Mozartkugel is only available from a tiny shop front in Salzburg, the Fürst confectionery at No. 13, Brodgasse. 

 

ROYAL DOULTON is an English ceramic and home accessories manufacturer that was founded in 1815. Operating originally in Vauxhall, London, and later moving to Lambeth in 1882. its wares were marked Doulton & Co.from 1853 to 1901, ROYAL DOULTON was officially issued the royal warrant in 1901, the tea cup set with 22 karat golden accent trims is my proud bargain from the flea market. The rosy, yellowish and greenery hues of the dahlia on cup, saucer and sugar jar make the whole set as the perfect match with SACHER burgundy tone, and it’s such a lovely visual pleasure to place PLAYMOBIL Mozart in violin character figure.

He lost the heartbroken juvenile in Luca Guadagnino’s Call Me by Your Name; he represents the student revolutionist in Wes Andersen’s The French Dispatch; he swallows his cannibalistic addiction in Guadagnino’s Bones and All; he owns a Chocolate Factory in Willy Wonka; he calls out as Savior Messiah in Denis Villeneuve’s Dune and soon will perform A Complete Unknown Bob Dylan’s song with James Mangold. Born in Manhattan, NYC to an artistic family, a Russian and Austrian Jewish mother, and of French and English ancestry father, the most promising rising Hollywood golden boy, TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET, processes the boulevards to all the hot spots without any further casting audition. 

 

TIMOTHÉE CHALAMET has becoming the sort of Hollywood property whose presence in an otherwise borderline project could immediately get it green light. It is the exact time that Chalamet takes his career paths much more seriously, and searches the balance of indulging the aching artist’s desire on one hand, and navigating the blessing and burden of celebrity on the other. 

 

Despite getting hounded by photographers or recognized by fans, Chalamet still loves strolling around New York neighbourhoods on his own. “I am getting the same bacon, egg, and cheese at the same deli. Resisting any lifestyle change, because it is equalizing”, he said. For Part One, said director Denis Villeneuve, “For Timothée it was his first big studio-movie experience. He had assurance, still he was kind of vulnerable, trying to find his focus and discovering how to protect his own bubble. And on Part Two, his character affects the whole crew as a deep ripple, and had learnt so much between films about how to secure his mindset and to own his personal space.”

After the most emotional climax of DUNE Part Two, an enormous set piece centres on a showdown between Chalamet’s Paul Atreides and Butler’s Feyd-Rautha, Chalamet’s interest in the Austin Butler Playbook did not end. He has basically been working with Bulter’s entire Elvis team—dialect coach Tim Monich, Vocal coach Eric Vetro and movement coach Polly Bennett—for the upcoming Bob Dylan prep. 

 

DUNE Part One, Chalamet had attached himself to Josh Brolin, Jason Momoa and Oscar Isaac, admitted that they are “generationally above”, “but I felt like I was without peers.” While DUNE Part Two marked the beginning of a new sense of self and purpose for Chalamet, who clearly embraced the opportunity and responsibility of standing in the centre of the frame in mass production films. The most important to Timothée is, that he is with talented peers and beloved friends.

The second coming, was in April 2023, with Martin Scorsese, filming a Bleu de CHANEL commercial in Queens, New York, presenting the new era of ambassador replace the late French actor Gaspard Ulliel. Hopping off from the local tram, we stroll through sala terrena/garden pavilion, where stands an aviary, a grotto, and a fountain by Adrian de Vries. A large amount of tourists rarely invade under the rich stucco decoration, which, were modeled after the portico of a Livornese church, at lovely day, sala terrena is our playground and the best fashion fun photo shoot paradise. 

The outfits of the day at Wallenstein Palace is D.EXTERIOR 96% mulberry silk & 4% elastan blouse in pearl white tone. Cuisine Crush Praha! Pork Knuckle at U Glaubicu & Tasty Street Food Trdelnik

Dating from 1665, U Glaubiců is a festive vibe ancient Bavarian style pub with traditional tavern, vaulted ceilings, painted salons and multi-level cellars, offering hearty Czech eats, local brews and outdoor café. Recommended by the locals, we were warmly welcomed though failing the booking the large table. 

 

The best part of travelling with a group of fantastic four is that the huge plate can be shared with no doubt. Roasted pork knuckle is a classic pub dish, which features a shiny, crispy skin and succulent meat. Therefore, we order the pork knuckle alongside with fresh salad. The brine-marinated knuckle of pork from the hind leg, weighs around 3 kilograms, slow-roasted in the oven takes approximately 25 minutes to the table. From the instruction we acquire from the kitchen, only toward the end of baking, the oven temperature needs to be raised for a short time so that the pork skin would turn golden and crispy blisters form on the surface. 

 

The roasted knuckle is served with fresh bread and condiments, including dill pickles, mustard, horseradish, or sauerkraut. A properly chilled beer we enjoy is the must! 

Trdelnik is one the most popular street foods at every passage corner in Prague. Originated from the Moravian-Slovak border area, Trdelnik is a traditional old Bohemian sweet pastry made of yeast dough, owning strips of dough are rolled onto a cylinder, which called trdlo, and baked over hot coals, coated in sugar mixed with cinnamon or nuts. Located on Karlova 180/8, the bakery GOOD FOOD, was the pioneer producer to offer the chimney cone filled with ice cream and seasonal strawberries or raspberries.

The Bohemian homeland inspiration of Alfons Mucha, the Castle of The Metamorphosis of Franz Kafka; Praha, the City of Hundred Spires fascinates me with its Gothic cathedrals, Astronomical Clock, art museums, monument statues, crooked passages, mysterious pasts, rich gourmet and lovely friendship.

 

Invited by CX cabin crew, I instantly purchase Air Baltic tickets, departure from Helsinki, transit in Riga and reunite with my dear college mate and greet new faces at HOTEL NH PRAGUE CITY. The arrival day is strolling at Havelské Tržiště/Havel Market Square and enjoying meaty dinner together in Praha old town.

      

On Mid-Autumn Day before heading to Praha Castle Area, we gang are in favour of having a lovely brunch at local café. Located At Praha 5^th arrondissement, KAVÁRNA CO HLEDÁ JMÉNO carries the reddish brick industrial architecture and raw wooden interior design, where offers the most delicious foamy benedict eggs served with spinach and café infusé à la main. 

 

Founded in 1985 by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the bling and bold ready-to-wear eventually catches my attention at AW 2022 collection due to the exclusive gent in Finland closed the contract in September 2023. Undoubtedly, for the experimental of my mix-and-match wearing philosophy, outfits of the day at KAVÁRNA CO HLEDÁ JMÉNO inner yard is DOLCE & GABBANA wool and spandex blended turtleneck sweater, the empreinte initial D&G logos stand out but not shout aloud. ZARA high waist Mom’s Fit jeans are always my travel must-carry, for their comfort and casual wear during the flight or city trip.

Maria del Giglio awaits at the corner distance. Working solo at LA BIENNALE 80 Venice Film Festival could lead to the temporary intensive headache, therefore, it is always lovely to have a visiting mate together, so we can reunite and share the experiences at dinner time, and escape the crowed, hold a cone of gelato and enjoy the walk to dive in the maze of Venice. 

 

RUZZINI PALACE HOTEL is on the half way to San Marco, and Campo Santa Maria Formosa owns the daily local residence’ lives of Venice. Tea Time Tallinn: Chocolats de Pierre & Happy Birthday Party

Opened in 2003, Choco, the first Chocolaterie de Pierre café, was hidden in the Medieval master craftsmen’s courtyard on Vene Street in Tallinn Old Town. This cozy café with 1900’s vintage wooden furniture and granny quilt carpets offers the freshly house made chocolate specialty, garnishes with fruity jam, cream foam and cute cherries, or the seasonal white chocolate truffles. 

 

CHOCOLATS DE PIERRE provides various selections on the café drinks, its iced coffee with icy cream at top with micro ice cubes, and the rich hot chocolate conveys the slightly bitter sweet flavor. Regardless the strong shot espresso, we gang decide to share a large pot of seasonal fruit hot tea, in order to celebrate a birthday girl’s tea party wish.

 

Despite of the over flock of the wild pigeons, out of our surprise, that after 15:00, CHOCOLATS DE PIERRE not only supplies us the foodies the sweetest memories, with the gently played from trio threefold chic bohemianism, August 2023 is the first time ever that I enjoy the whole length of Le Cygne, The Swan, the 13th and penultimate movement of The Carnival of the Animals by French Composer Camille Saint-Saëns. 

 

The poppy red table cloths, the daily –made treats, the pebble backyard, the tiny counter to play the magic, the waitresses with straw hats, the smiles from around the world, just as Chocolats de Pierre announces: We do not count calories, we simply enjoy life.

How to prepare light and shine at high season Tallinn cruise trip? For the brunch time at HOTEL SACHER SALON, Vienna sausage in Austrian German, Frankfurter Würstel or Würstl, is a thin parboiled sausage traditionally made of pork and beef in a casing of sheep’s intestine, then given a low-temperature smoking, rather lighter, less saltier and much crispier comparing to any Cantonese or Taiwanese traditional sausage, together with two bowls of light yellow mustard, horseradish and two bread rolls, are the multi-tasty and energy-supply choice. 

As for the drinks, I am falling in love with Austrian herbal extracts carbonated soft beverage ALMDUDLER, which, is currently sold in original sugar-free, still and g’spritzt, mixed with carbonated mineral water versions. In the regions of Lower Austria and Burgenland, Radler, which is Almdudler mixed with beer or wine, is a popular alcoholic drink with locally produced red and white wines.

 

Produced from 1957 by the Viennese entrepreneur Erwin Klein (1924–83), ALMDUDLER was derived the name from the then-common phrase ‘auf der Alm dudeln’, which, means ‘yodeling in the Alpine pasture’. The drink was originally created and marketed as an alternative to alcoholic beverages, and Klein promoted its popularity through sponsoring at major sporting events, especially at the 1964 Winter Olympics held in Innsbruck. 

 

ALMDUDLER is as refreshing as jasmine iced tea with spackling water, or a less bubble version of Danish elderflower drink. Last but not the least, a mini cup of espresso is always the best assist to keep me going on the road.

As being a fan of classic music, though missing the schedule of Wiener Philharmoniker debut at Salzburg Festival, still, I successfully book the tickets The Sound of Music from Salzburg Marionette Theatre and Schloss Konzerte Mirabell. Taking WESTBAHN train from Wien Westbahnhof to Salzburg Hbf and back with ÖBB, the 150 minute-journey offers the endless edelweiss village view. 

 

How to wear chic and comfort at Salzburg Festival? DESIGN MUSEUM OF DENMARK, formerly The Royal Frederik’s Hospital, which was designed by the architects Nicolai Eigtved and Lauritz de Thurah in 1752–57. The elegant hospital complex consists of rather lower buildings placed around the central quadrangular museum garden. Nicolai Eigtved’s original design of the garden had been planned as a recreational area for the patients and an agricultural space, providing freshly grown potatoes and vegetables until 1926. 

 

The fine linden tree avenues we visitors enjoy very much now, thus around 250 years old, were planted shortly after the hospital was completed. The narrow cobbled paths between the rows were introduced and placed sculptures among the shadow avenues in order to break their mono-uniformity.

Cuisine Crush København 2023! Viet Restaurant Bo Bun & Poonchai Thai Hot Wok

After the arrival and check-in at WAKEUP KØBENHAVN BERNSTORFFSGAD, we are starving and craving for the fresh and tasty luncheon possibility.  

In the Neighbourhood of NATIONAL MUSEUM of DENMARK and TIVOLI PARK, VIET RESTAURANT provides the Nordic modern minimalistic interior deco but the most ready tasty Bun Bo Vietnamese noodle salad on my list. The Vietnamese chef prepare the Danish marinated pork slices wok fried with slightly burnt sweet onions, sprinkling on white sesames, together with pickled carrots, reddish, cucumbers and seasonal vegetables; the rice noodles are soft without tangling, perfectly with several dews of lime and the fish sauce. 

 

Besides the Vietnamese coffee devices, the passion fruit lemon juice with dense foams and kiwi fruits seeds, are the most surprising fruity drink I have ever experienced. Without too heavy amount of ice rocks, the tropical delights melt in my mouth within a second, definitely the perfect choice to balance with rather pepper-salty pork salad bowl.

Located in the neighbouhood of København Central Railway Station, POONCHAI THAI incorporates natural elements by utilizing the wooden tables, the pebble stone basin, the bamboo chairs and the rattan rice basket into the interior design, and placing the dimmed lighting to create the inviting environments. 

 

Usually avoiding the red meat choices during the lunchtime, we share wok fried chicken slices in sweet and sour sauce with bamboo shoots and green/red peppers, and Yum Wunsan Talay, which is Thai glass noodle salad with blue mussels, tiger shrimps and white octopus served with chilly oyster sauce and seasonal vegetables. Accompany the hot wok dish and seafood, with double jasmine rice plates, we also enjoy fresh apple juice and Thai iced milk tea. 

 

Most of the offers at POONCHAI THAI are as a starting point with the ordinary chili taste as in the traditional Thai cuisine, while we are quite satisfied with our orders on the level of slightly spicy but not too burning.
