Comment l'été 2022 vous invite? Allons à Méditerranée! Le soleil, La mer, la mode et l’art de vie! Pour la première fois, VOGUE FRANCE, VOGUE ITALIE et VOGUE ESPAGNE s’unissent pour célébrer vacances et farniente: Raquel à Saint-Tropez, Mica à Ibiza, Adut à Pantelleria; trois profils uniques, définissant les contours d’une beauté et de notre belle Méditerranée. 

 

Du VOGUE FRANCE Juin/Juillet 2022, avec Saint Laurent, Givenchy ou Chanel, le soft-focus par Photographe Théo de Gueltzl rend le tourner la page de VOGUE adorable. Du Brésil, supermodel RAQUEL ZIMMERMANN parle du les thème, avec Hugo Compain, de le gande-robe de ISABEL MARANT, des boots Saint Laurent, ses secret de beauté (Boire de l’eau!), parfum favorite de Italian Citrus et le livre elle a changé: L’Alchimiste de PAULO CHELHO. D’accord avec Zimmermann, J’adore Hawaii et les films de David Lynch, qui a eu une grande influence sur moi. Aussi j'aime qu'elle croit que ‘Beauté vient du cœur’ (44), qui portrait vraiment bien sur la campagne de mode à Saint-Tropez. 

Photographe Théo de Gueltzl utilise les lumières jaunes pour démontrer le toucher doux de silhouette de vêtement, qui se confondent avec la vue sur la mer de côte de Méditerranée. Le robe blanc de JACQUEMUS, le collier en nacre et cuir de MONIES et CHANEL top et crêpe stretch sont étonnamment charmant. Les rochers du bord de Méditerranée contrastent avec le toucher doux de la haute couture, si les magazines existent pour teinter les rêves, ‘ils n’en ont pas moins une responsabilité quant aux messages qu’ils véhiculent’. 

 

As for the photography, in order to echo to the pastel blue tone and baby pink font of the VOGUE cover, I adopt DIOR BEAUTY miniature ead de parfum Miss Dior ROSE N’ROSES 5ml and eau de toilette tube de blanc 2ml, since they are always the cutest table setting must-have, plus and Dior Sauvage EDU 7ml which the upright settings and dark tone can create a more of abstract vision, to contrast the flat lay magazine shooting technique. Rose hand cream 20ml and Apricot nail cream 10g, Dior Addict Lip Maximizer 2ml and 15ml are my all time favourite, also due to Zimmermann has been conquering Christian Dior Haute Couture runways, I replenish CAPTURE TOTALE energy cream 15ml and anti-age micro serum 7ml, Dior Show over curl mascara Noir to enhance the pastel pinkish table setting. As for additional accessories, 30 MONTAIGNE scented candle 85g is one of the best surprise from Dior Beauty 2021 Christmas countdown calendar, and eyelid mini brush, 925 silver vintage rings (the gift from my aunt in the 90’s!) and Chanel off-white camellia flower are never too lavish to overuse them. 

Before my upcoming autumn holiday trip to Paris, reading VOGUE FRANCE simulates my language study during the beautiful  Helsinki days.

Fatima 1932/By Famuse offers a wide range of services, from hazelnut chocolate to Turkish delight, from cologne-room scents to vanilla candles and homemade desserts. As an Ankara company, Fatima 1932 opened its first branch in Istanbul in October 2018, immediately brought the attentions in Nişantaşı district.

As Semiz indicates, with Chef Cem Erol’s contribution, wishfully that FATIMA 1932 in Turkey will stand still and tall as LADURÉE in France or Café Pushkin in Russia. The first 4 nights we stay at MESERRET PALACE HOTEL located in Fatih, a historical district to almost full of the provincial authorities, inclusive of HAGIA SOFIA , BLUE MOSQUE and GRAND BAZAAR. The numerous of restaurants and tea houses accompany our strolling from the hotel to the shore of Galata Shore, which is connected with Galata Bridge, reaches toward to Galata Tower. 

 

In July daytime, Istanbul constantly raises up to 32 Celsius degrees, while during the evening may drop down to 20ish. Follow the Leader and we reach KORN at Tuska Festival 2022! The inception of TUSKA FESTIVAL was conceived in 1998 wintertime, by the editors of Metal Magazine SUOMI; in 2002, more than 15,000 metal heads were experiencing the strong vibes and the open stages in Kaisaniemi, which was the first ever sold-out record on Tuska Festival history. 

 

From 2011, Tuska Festival took place in Suvilahti, which is accessible easily by metro and on foot from Kalasatama, Helsinki; and the return of Tuska Festival after COVID pandemic period, welcomes Deftons, Carcass, Beast In Black, Lost Society, Heilung and KORN in July 2022! 

Having been a KORN fan since their 1998-99 album Follow the Leader, I am quite into the range of Nu-metal, a form of alternative metal and post grunge, which also mixed with heavy metal, alternative rock, hip-hop, rap rock, funk metal, and groove dissonance. From the bullying childhood, the lyrics mostly written from Jonathan Davis the front man, focus on pain and personal alienation rather than traditional heavy metal themes. Though the sounds from KORN are perhaps dejected, despondent or too depressively oppressed, still the band have been playing their honest, never tried to pretend that everything will be alright after the gaining of fame or comfortable life. 

 

At Tuska Festival main stage, due to the Helsinki city sound limit regulation, the festival needs to cease the day from midnight sharp. KORN appear at 21:30 exact, leads with ‘Blind’ and follows ‘Falling Away from Me’, ‘Got the Life’, ‘The Ringmaster’ ‘A.D.I.D.A.S.’ and make we metal heads shake our heads non-stop ‘Y’all Want A Single Say Fuck That’, Davis not only surprises us with his bagpipe to initiate ‘Shoots and Ladders’, later he and band introduce QUEEN’s ‘We Will Rock You’ in order to connect ‘Coming Undone’, which is impeccably accordable, and evokes the crowds claps hands and say YEAH. 

  

The new and improved festival area and services provide music fans for the spacious environment to rest under wide tents enjoying soft drinks, beer, street foods and even merchandise shops; the lounge space offers the cooling seats and rather equipped toilets for a better calm. The nearby shopping center REDI once again plays a huge role, as wristband exchange, cuisine courts, larger and numerous restrooms and all gate services took place in their premises. 

How to wear Rock & Roll and casual comfy at Tuska Festival? AC/DC 100% cotton Tee by H&M is the must-have at any metal festival, and ZARA 100% denim in black with ribbed hems and fishnet translucent nylon stocking match with the rather bleak tones of AC/DC tee perfectly. As for accessories, CHLOÉ ivory white acetate sunglasses and MAISON MARGIELA lacer-cut ankle boots have been serving me on the road since 2015; and purchased in 2020, VALENTINO GARAVANI V-Sling mini square shoulder bag allows to adjust a rather shorter length, and the room of 17cm is convenient to carry several basic cards, home keys and travel size makeups but save tons of weights during the festival area running around. 

Tuska Festival provides the artsy sties for the new installation sculpture artists to express the heavies and metal relationship. At Area 51 street food rest area, this Jurassic park plus Transformer triceratops becomes the photo shoot mecca. Holding crimson red KOFF beer can, having AC/DC red text cotton tee, with a smudge of CHANEL le rouge and CHLOÉ ivory white sunglasses, my outfits of the day at Tuska Festival mark me the very rebellious outlook of the high season.

 

With the information from Joel, we also appreciate Heilung with their mix of folk choir, Middle-Age instruments, Norse mythology inspiration and cult costumes, very much an aesthesis of Robert Eggers’ The Northman. For the most the pity part of the KORN stage, is that the band absent my favourite song ‘Twisted Transistor’…. Still, drinking KOFF beer, immersing the heavy bass and drum walls, watching Guitarist Brain Welch plays his instrument using both the techniques of finger style and slapping, and Jonathan Davis is the eye of the KORN storm, plus their banging their cornrow braids, are the most precious experiences at Tuska Festival 2022.
