How I did It: Clothes hoarder, nail art lover and Joo, superblogger!

Clothes Hoarder & Nail Lover

Happy 2013! Yes, we love fashion magazines, but we follow the superbloggers. British Highstreet fashion magazine Company 2013 launches the Superblogger issue, being ‘the first women’s mag to put bloggers on the cover’(Victoria White 7), featuring 12 pages of pop quizzes of English-blogging gals, plus 20 global street style faces, is truly inspiring and interesting enough, though limited within language and creative Q&A. The so-called ‘superbloggers’ shouldn’t only be confined in island-wide boundary, but reaches to yet a higher latitude. PixyMindy interviews a Jyväskylä native blogger, Viivi, to share more love on fashion and life of winter wonderland, in the spotlight of style.

1. What inspires you to start the blog ‘In the Spotlight of Style’??

I have always been interested in clothes. My mum have told me that when I was only three years old I wanted to change my clothes many times per day.

I wanted to share my passion for clothes/style with other people and bloggers who have the same passion.

I started to write my blog four and a half years ago. At that time there was only some dozens fashion/lifestyle bloggers in Finland. It was quite easy to follow all of them. Nowadays there is over 48 000 blogs listed in www.blogilista.fi

2.How would you define your vogue?

(Does this mean the same as how would I define my style?)
I like little details. I always use nail polish and jewellery. My favourite colours for clothes are grey, dark blue, black, burgundy and beige.

3. Your style icons/idols are…….?

I follow no-one with regularity… But I like Emma Stone, Zoe Saldana and Alexa Chung. Just to mention some.
One of my favourite bloggers is http://www.kayture.com/ She is amazing!

4. Introduce your favourite clothes shopping stores and websites to us.

My favourite clothes shop must be Bershka or Zara. The best webshop is www.nelly.com.

5. Your blogger rules are……?

-Stay positive.
-Don’t get provoked by anonymous comments.
-Write only when you really want to or when you are inspired. Don’t write if you only feel like you need to.
-Advertise/promote only those things you could buy by yourself.

Kiitos, Viivi, wish you word up and spice more up your life!
Viivi blogs at http://inthespotlightofstyle.blogspot.fi/, follow up!
